Heraklion: Robbery with a knife threat in a store – Three foreigners arrested

Three foreigners accused of robbery committed in an operation in Heraklion were arrested this morning by police officers of the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate. The three arrested, as it turned out, entered a company in Heraklion yesterday morning with their facial features covered and, threatening with a knife, immobilized the employee while removing the amount of 570 euros, various tobacco products and a mobile phone.

According to the Police, the investigation revealed that they were the three foreigners who were located and arrested. During subsequent searches, clothing and footwear used by the perpetrators during the robbery, two knives, the amount of 24.50 euros, part of the stolen tobacco products and a mobile phone were found and confiscated.

The ongoing investigation and preliminary investigation of the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate revealed that the above perpetrators had committed two more thefts, had taken from local money and various personal documents and from a two-wheeled motorcycle which they used to escape from the robbery.

In addition, the found products, the mobile phone and the two-wheeled motorcycle were returned to the victims. The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate.
