A 23-year-old girl is fighting for her life.
The car ride of a group of young people in Chania turned into a tragedy as two people died tragically in a traffic accident and two others are fighting to stay alive.
According to the latest information from cretapost, the victims of the traffic accident are a 15-year-old girl and a 23-year-old man, while a total of three people are hospitalized, both of whom are in a serious condition.
How did the car accident happen?
Everything happened shortly after 4 pm on a provincial road of Kissamos in Chania. Then, the car driven by the 23-year-old and carrying two minors (a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old teenager) and a 23-year-old woman veered off course and after hitting a tree, collided head-on with a passing agricultural vehicle.
The collision was severe, as a result of which the 23-year-old driver, originally from Georgia, was tragically killed while the other passengers were seriously injured.
At the same time, there were two people in the farmer’s vehicle – a man and a woman – with the 74-year-old slightly injured.
Five EKAV ambulances, the fire brigade and men from the Traffic Police rushed to the scene.
The 15-year-old succumbed to her injuries
The body of the 23-year-old man, the 15-year-old foreign woman with severe injuries, the 23-year-old Greek woman with equally serious injuries, and the 17-year-old Greek man who was also seriously injured were taken to the Chania hospital.
Unfortunately, despite the superhuman efforts of the doctors of the Chania hospital, the 15-year-old did not succeed and breathed her last.

The 23-year-old multi-injured woman was urgently admitted for surgery while she is currently being intubated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Chania hospital.
