Exit of the July licensees – Increased traffic in the ports of Piraeus and Rafina

Increased is expected today as well passenger traffic from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrioy, as the departure of the July leavers continues, while there are many who want to escape for a weekend to a nearby island of Attica.

For today, 22 itineraries are planned from the port of Piraeus, while for Argosaronic 11 itineraries with conventional ships and 24 with high-speed ferries, 12 itineraries from Rafina and 7 from the port of Lavrio.

The port authority has taken all the necessary measures to facilitate the passengers, while it is good for those who are going to travel to be at the ship’s departure dock an hour earlier, due to increased traffic on the surrounding roads.

Yesterday, Friday 07/08 from the port of Piraeus were carried out 23 ship departures, while 21,225 passengers, 3,414 vehicles, 756 trucks and 584 two-wheelers departed. There were 41 ship departures for the Argosaronic Sea, while 8,438 passengers, 1,001 motor vehicles, 37 trucks and 329 two-wheelers departed.

From port of Rafina there were 16 ship departures while 7,657 passengers, 1,606 cars, 104 trucks and 199 two-wheelers departed. 11 ships departed from the port of Lavrio, while 3,765 passengers, 945 cars, 47 trucks and 89 two-wheelers departed.
