Halkidiki: The search for the 28-year-old tourist continues

For the fourth 24 hours, the search for his location continues 28-year-old tourist Martin, from North Macedoniawho has been missing since last Saturday afternoon, when he was swept away by strong sea currents, at Myti beach, in Poseidi Halkidiki.

Three floating vessels and four patrol vehicles of the Coast Guard, as well as groups of volunteers, have been participating in the operation since the morning, while an aircraft of the Corps is expected to “stand up” during the day.

The conditions in the research area are more favorable today compared to the previous 24 hours, when winds of 7 Beaufort were blowing intermittently.

The 28-year-old’s parents and brother are in Greece

Yesterday evening, the parents and brother of the 28-year-old from the United States arrived at the Thessaloniki airport. At 11 in the morning they will be in Nea Skioni to watch the searches for their child.

On the other hand, the 30-year-old Ivan he remained in the water for 18 hours with methodical swimming and rest stops, while as he said it helped him stay afloat and a ball which he found by chance in the water.
