Two weeks ago, the judges heard the 58-year-old defendant deny what was attributed to him in the case file and what, often with difficulty and great burden, were described in court by the three men who complained that they were raped while they were minors by Dimitris Lignadis.
The side of the accused, from the beginning of his arrest, attempted to discount the weight of the complaints stressing that the plaintiffs of the famous artist are unreliable with nefarious motives.
Dimitris Lignadis in his apology denied any act of violence charged against him in the case file, stressing that he never had a sexual relationship with a minor. The version that the actor supports from the first moment of the criminal case is that it is fabricated.

He even mentioned that one parameter of Dimitris Lignadis’ preference for these children is the “confidentiality” that was “secured” as the victims, due to their age and social characteristics, “would not dare to speak”. But “the victims spoke and spoke loudly” said Mr. Kountrias, causing great emotion to the complainants who listened to him.
According to the public prosecutor, there is no “scheming or plagiarism”, nor any “political exploitation”, nor “professional rivalry”, there is only “satisfaction of erotic needs with the use of violence”.
