All Hellenic Courts 2022: Until midnight tomorrow the deadline for submitting Computerized Report

by

It is reminded that when completing the P.M.D., candidates are not limited to the number of I.E.K. and specialties they can choose

Until tomorrow, Monday, July 18, until 12 midnight, candidates have a deadline to submit Computerized Reports (M.D.) for admission to HEIs or the Parallel Computerized Report (P.M.D.) to Public IEK.

Candidates can visit, using the personal security code (password), the electronic address https://michanografiko.it.minedu.gov.gr and submit the M.D. and P.M.D.

For any information, support, obtaining a password or using a computer that they may not have, candidates will be able to contact their High Schools, which will also be open tomorrow Monday.

It is reminded that when completing the P.M.D., candidates are not limited to the number of I.E.K. and specialties they can choose.

When completing the M.D., candidates will see and be able to select those departments for which the average of their grades is equal to or greater than the EBE of each department, including, where required, the EBE of the specialist course or the practical tests (competitions for TEFAA).

Those candidates who did not have time to obtain a password, or do not remember it, can contact their High School on Monday. Alternatively, if they had declared a personal email (when obtaining the password), set a new password through the MD application with the option “Security password reminder”, without going to the school unit.

Computerized Certificate for admission to Higher Education can be submitted by:

– Those who took part in the nationwide GEL or EPAL exams of 2022, and if they already hold or obtained a high school diploma (GEL candidates) and a high school diploma and degree (EPAL candidates).

– Those graduates who took part in the nationwide exams of the daily GEL and EPAL in the years 2020 or 2021, claiming this year 10% of the admission places, without a new exam. Those graduates who are candidates for the 10%, participate in the selection process with the points they achieved in their last exam. For the candidates of the 10% of the year 2020, the Minimum Admission Basis (EBA) does not apply, while for the candidates of the 10% of the year 2021, the EBA, as formulated in 2021, applies.

Beneficiaries to submit the Parallel Computerized Report for admission to the Public IEK are:

– Candidates who submitted an Application-Declaration and participated in the 2022 Day or Evening GEL/EPAL All-Hellenic Examinations. For the submission of the said P.M.D. they will use the personal security code (password) they have already created.

– The final students of the day or evening GEL/EPAL of the current school year who did not participate in the 2022 GEL/EPAL National Examinations. The creation of the personal security code (password) for these candidates to submit a Parallel Computerized Report, is done at GEL/EPAL where they studied.

Candidates are advised to print and/or save on their computer the submitted finalized computer plan (which will automatically have a protocol number) so that they can see their final preferences at any time.

The deadline is exclusive and after it has passed no candidate will be able to submit an M.D. either for admission to Higher Education, or for admission to Public IEK through P.M.D.

Import Bases

Regarding the admission bases, they will be announced by August 15, as estimated by the Ministry of Education.

In all four Scientific Fields, the bases are expected to fall, except for the 4th Scientific Field, Economics and Informatics, where declines are predicted in high-ranking schools, but a significant rise in medium ones. In this field, the number of candidates increased by 900 people. After all, this particular orientation is the most numerous of the GELs. More generally, there has been a gradual tendency in recent years for the Humanities and Positive Studies Orientations to decrease in candidates, while the Health and Economic Studies Orientations are constantly increasing.

A significant drop in bases is also expected in all Sectors of EPA.L.

Last year, 45% of EPAL candidates went on to Higher Education and 66% of GEL candidates.
