A 38-year-old spearfisherman who was missing in the “Dardiza” sea area of Ermioni and Lake Thermisia was found dead.
Specifically, according to a relevant announcement, the Port Authorities of Hermioni, Hydra, Spetses and Portoheli were informed, in the early hours of today, that the 38-year-old citizen went to carry out underwater fishing, in the morning hours of 07/30/22, in the “Dardiza” marine area of Hermioni and Lake Thermisia and has been missing since then.
Under the coordination of the Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Center LS-EL.AKT. investigations were carried out by three LS-ELAKT patrol boats, a private boat and two private divers. From the air, a Navy helicopter attempted, while from land, LS-EL.AKT patrol vehicles participated in the investigations.
The 38-year-old was found unconscious in the area of the investigations, he was pulled out by an LS-EL AKT patrol vehicle. and was taken to the port of Ermioni, from where he was picked up by an EKAV ambulance and transferred to the Kranidi Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The 2nd Ermioni Port Department of the Port Authority of Nafplion, which conducts the preliminary investigation, is going to order the performance of a necropsy to the Forensic Service of Nafplion-Kalamata.
