The 36-year-old from Rhodes is being taken to prison on charges of rape and indecent acts against his partner’s minor daughter, as yesterday Tuesday afternoon he was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison by the Kos Mixed Jury Court.
The court found the 36-year-old guilty of the offenses of rape, seduction of a minor and abuse of indecency, recognizing him with the mitigation of his previous legal life and sentenced him to six years in prison for each act, combining a total of 12 years with each appeal not to have suspensory power.
During his apology yesterday morning, the 36-year-old denied what was attributed to him and claimed that the minor was the one who “threw” him and that when he rejected her, he was annoyed and thus the complaint was made against him.
He also told the court that he was sending the messages in order to calm down the reaction, aggression and intense sexuality of the minor, thus trying to “solve” the issue on his own. He added that it was his fault that he had not spoken to the minor’s mother about these issues.
It is worth noting that the trial started yesterday morning and ended yesterday afternoon with the issuance of the decision, while the “Catapult” was in the proposal of the Prosecutor of the headquarters who asked the court for the guilt of the 36-year-old as accused.
According to the case file, it all started on Saturday, February 6, 2021, when her daughter’s cell phone was found in the mother’s hands, when she found out that her 36-year-old friend was chatting with the minor through a social networking page. The 43-year-old mother, pretending to be the 15-year-old girl, continued to talk along with her daughter’s cell phone, where from the conversation, she was suspected that something erotic was running between them.
When her daughter came, she confessed that the 36-year-old had committed indecent acts against her, in the morning hours of the same day (February 6, 2021), while similar incidents are said to have occurred other times in the last two years.
In fact, according to the referral panel, the acts of the accused against the minor are said to have been committed during the period from September 2019 until February 6, 2021.
According to information, the complaint was confirmed by the testimony given to the police by the minor girl, who referred in detail to the messages that she allegedly exchanged with the 36-year-old but also to the indecent acts that he allegedly did to her.
