“We are with you”: The PASOK-Change Movement campaign against femicide
The dialogue with civil society on femicides and incidents of gender-based violence continues PASOK – Movement for Change. According to the announcement of the party, already for two weeks on the digital platform of the party, digitalsociety.gr, the views of the citizens are recorded in order to be the first yeast for the elaboration of holistic policies, which will be the starting point for the elimination of femicides.
As part of this year’s two-day events for the 3rd of September, a thematic dialogue table will be organized, while the party created a campaign spot that will be uploaded to social media. It’s about the campaign “We are with you”.
In the next stage, PASOK-Movement for Change will discuss with lawyers, women’s organizations, involved state authorities, etc. in order to form a single and holistic framework that will touch on the issue of justice but also on the part of setting up the necessary structures for support, removing the woman from the abusive environment, securing a job, etc.
