The creation of Alfa Romeo by Bertone and designer Marcello Gandini impresses for its distinctive aesthetics and technological innovation.
Made in just 15 units, the Giulia Speciale Montreal collector’s edition was created exclusively for the Canadian market. Outside of Italy, Montreal, Canada can boast of being the city with the most special relationship with Alfa Romeo.
It all started at the Montreal International Show in 1967 where a very special concept car caught the eye. The creation of Alfa Romeo by the house Bertone and the designer Marcello Gandini impressed the visitors thanks to the very special aesthetics, but also the technological innovation. The success of the prototype led to the creation of the production version, which kept the same name and was introduced in 1970 creating another legend in the brand’s rich history.
To honor this special creation, but also its relationship with the city of Montreal, Alfa Romeo will make available exclusively in Canada the special edition Giulia Speciale Montreal, which will be produced in just 15 units. The green color of the model is inspired by the color of the 1967 original and is perfectly combined with the black rims, yellow calipers and carbon fiber elements. The Giulia Speciale Montreal is powered by the 280 hp 2-liter Turbo engine combined with the Q4 four-wheel drive system and rear limited-slip differential.
