The 15-year-old had gone to the beach with his cousin, who saw him face down in the sea and initially thought he was playing. He approached him and turned him upside down and found him foaming at the mouth. The beach lifeguard was mobilized and the defibrillator was also used, but unfortunately they were unable to save the 15-year-old. He was taken by an EKAV ambulance to the New Moudania Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A 15-year-old citizen was pulled unconscious from the beach of Neo Flogitos, municipality of N. Propontida, at midday today.
The 15-year-old was taken by an EKAV ambulance to the New Moudania Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation is being carried out by the 2nd Port Department of New Moudania, Halkidiki, while an autopsy has been ordered at the Forensic Service of Thessaloniki.
