The bad weather that severely hit Thessaloniki left behind problems.

In a fish shop ended up a car swept away by the rapids at Sykies Thessaloniki during the night, when the city was severely affected by bad weather.

The force of the water was such that it broke the entrance of the store and the car went inside, along with transported materials such as stones and dirt.

The wave of bad weather is hitting Central and Northern Greece with intensity, with heavy rains, storms and flooding phenomena. The phenomena are also intense in Central Greece and Evia.

On Sunday evening, a message was sent from 112 in Thessaly and the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki about dangerous weather phenomena in the next 24 hours.

According to an emergency worsening weather report issued yesterday by the National Weather Service, until the afternoon, in northern and central Greece, there will be strong rains and storms in places, accompanied by a high frequency of lightning, hail and strong winds.
