In seven arrests, of which five minors, proceeded yesterday, Sunday, December 5, in the afternoon, before the start of the football match AEK – Panathinaikos, police officers of the DIAS Team.
In particular, according to EL.AS, the police located in a park near the ISAP station “Perissos”, a group of six people, who tried to hide various objects. The police stopped them, while in their possession they found: Five iron rods, 17 wooden poles, a bicycle glove with protective inserts on the joints and a full face hood. Also, in the possession of one was found a folding knife.
At the same time, another DIAS team located another person coming out of the same station and during a search, two unactivated crackers were found in his possession.
The seven people were taken to the Violence Sub-Directorate in the Sports Facilities of the Attica Security Directorate, where they were arrested. A case was filed against them, for case by case violation of the legislation on weapons and on flares and sparklers, while they were taken to the competent prosecutor.
