Ten Years of CE.ARS: Innovation in Distance Education

Bearing in mind the new conditions and requirements of the labor market, with a desire to offer academic and lifelong learning to fellow human beings, an educational and innovative organization, CE.ARS, was founded in Patras in 2012 (Center of Academic Research and Studies).

The COVID-19 pandemic, the new working data conditions and the difficulties that had to be overcome in order to continue the educational activity put more solid foundations for the distance education method in our country.

As Distance learning is nowadays defined as computer-assisted education that usually takes place in an online environment, which is why e-learning or online learning are often used as synonyms. In distance education, we separate, according to time, modern and asynchronous education.
