The Director of the Pulmonary Clinic of “Evangelismos” Hospital, George Boulbasakos, commented on the complaints of the President of POEDIN, regarding the inclusion of ICUs that remain “closed” for VIP SKAI and the show “Unmatched”.
The doctor pointed out that in his own hospital no ICU bed is kept for specific persons and explained that the order of the intubated can not be violated as there are specific protocols that apply to how admissions are made.
However, the doctor commented that the manipulation made to find the ICU to the Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania Kosmas, was unacceptable. “I do not know if the complaints of the president of POEDIN are valid, but these questions are reasonably asked, due to the incident with the Metropolitan (Kosmas) and the unacceptable management that took place”
He even called on the competent bodies to take a position on the issue.
Regarding the situation prevailing in the hospitals, Mr. Bulbasakos stressed that some parts of the NSS are working at their limits, while he considered it necessary to better manage the doctors in the hospitals but also in the private health structures, so that, as he said, the system can distribute the weight. unilaterally and not unilaterally.
