More than three kilos of heroin were carefully found hidden in a loudspeaker and four people were arrested for the case, one of whom was only 15 years old. According to the police investigation, the above gang members, led by an 18-year-old detainee, were receiving quantities of heroin, which they then trafficked in the city of Xanthi.
Police officers of the General Affairs Department of the Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate of Thessaloniki, with the assistance of their colleagues from the Xanthi Security Department and the police dog “AS”, initially arrested a forty-four-year-old native, who, in a taxi owned by her, received a transport carton.
The carton was sent from Athens and during a search, a speaker was found inside, in which six packages of heroin, weighing a total of 3,066 grams, were carefully hidden.
Subsequently, the other three members of the gang were arrested in the same area, who came in order to receive the aforementioned quantity of drugs. A case has been filed against them for gang and violation of the law on addictive substances and they will be brought to justice.
