Athens: Traffic arrangements in the center on Sunday for the race “Race for the Cure”

Traffic arrangements will be made on Sunday (2/10) in Athens due to the “14th Race for the Cure” Race and Walk.

Traffic regulations in detail:

Gradual stoppage of vehicle traffic, during the hours 07.00 to 13.00, as follows:

• L. Vas. Amalia, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams and on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
• Syngrou St., in the section between Ath. Diakou St. and Amalia St. Vass, in the traffic flow towards Pl. Constitution.
• Sofia Avenue, in the section between Amalia Avenue and Zakharov Street in both (2) traffic streams and on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
• Date Attikou, along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
• L. Vas. Olgas, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams and on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
• University (El. Venizelou), in the section between L. Vas. Amalia and Pesmazoglou Street and on the perpendiculars thereof up to the first parallel street.
• Meleagro, in the section between Hesiodos Street and Konnou Street.
• Aravantinou, in the section between Hesiodos Street and L. Vas. Kon/nou.
• Cleanthos, in the section between Vas. Georgiou B’ Street and Vas. Kon/nou Street.
• Academy, in the section between Har Street. Trikoupi and L. Vas. Sofia and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
• Vas. Georgiou II, along its entire length and on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
• Stadium, along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
• Filellini, along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
• L. Vas. Kon/nou: Along its entire length, traffic flow towards Ardittou Street and on its perpendiculars to the first parallel street.

In the section between Sp. Merkouri St. and St. Vass. Sofias Street, traffic flow towards Kifisias St. and on the right side of it up to the first parallel street.

At the same time it will be valid prohibition of standing and parking of vehicles during the hours 06.00′ to 13.00′, on the road Pesmazogloualong its entire length.

Prohibition of vertical passage of vehicles along the event route [Λ. Βασ. Αμαλίας – Λ. Βασ. Σοφίας – αναστροφή στο ύψος της οδού Ξενίας – Λ. Βασ. Σοφίας (ρεύμα ανόδου) – Λ. Βασ. Κων/νου (ρεύμα καθόδου) – Λ. Βασ. Όλγας]during the hours when its sections will be closed to vehicular traffic except for the following intersections:

• L. Vas. Sofias – Rigillis
• L. Vas. Kon/nou – Vas. Georgiou II
