Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce: Proposes reduced opening hours for stores due to energy crisis

Due to the problems created by energy crisis and the unforeseen difficulties of the coming winter, the decrease in market turnover and the Government’s demand for a reduction in electricity consumption, the Board of Directors of the Trade Association of Thessaloniki decided to propose reduced shop opening hours during the afternoon/evening hours.

It should be noted that limiting the energy consumption of stores was a proposal that was also discussed with the MEP and Co-Chair of the Intergoup “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development Mrs. Maria Spyrakis, during an information event on the topic “Repower EU – An opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises businesses” organized by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce, in the context of its participation in the 86th D.E.Th.

Therefore, the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce proposes the following store opening hours from Monday, October 10, 2022:

MONDAY

10:00 to 16:00

TUESDAY

10:00 to 19:00

Wednesday

10:00 to 16:00

Thursday

10:00 to 19:00

Friday

10:00 to 19:00

SATURDAY

10:00 to 16:00
