Theodorikakos: 10410 is in place for the protection of animals – “We are sending a strong message against the abuse of any form of life”

The five-digit number 10410 of EL.AS is put into operation, in the context of the implementation of the law for the protection of lives. Citizens will be able from now on to report any abuse of animals and general issues related to their safety and protection.

The line operates daily from 07:00 to 23:00 and citizens will be connected to the Animal Protection Department of the General Policing Directorate of the Hellenic Police Headquarters.

With his post on social media, the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos points out:

“The protection of animals is for every society a question of education and culture. We value every life. The five-digit telephone number 10410 of EL.AS is an important step for the protection of our four-legged friends. Starting today, we are putting a useful tool at the service of citizens, developing our Police services. Together we are sending a strong message against the abuse of any form of life.”
