Next Monday, in the Mixed Jury Court of Aegion, the circumstances under which the victim accuses her brother-in-law of raping her for two years, in the village of Tritaia, will be revived.

According to the case file, the 65-year-old threatened the 70-year-old with a saw and forced her to submit to his sexual desires. The victim was afraid and tolerated this situation for 2 years, until she couldn’t take it anymore and the last time she found the courage and removed her brother-in-law with the threat of her own saw!

The two protagonists of the story fought from time to time over the possessions of the woman’s blessed husband, among the points of friction was a… donkey!

The villagers speak of two poor people and stand aloof from their occasional fights. They refuse to appear in court as prosecution or defense witnesses.

It is characteristic that both the alleged perpetrator and his sister-in-law have requested that their lawyers be appointed, because they are unable to pay them themselves.

Of course, only the defendant’s request was accepted, since the law does not provide for an appointment to represent the civil action.
