A related bill, which is in public consultation, provides for a three-month increase in maternity leave
The government representative, Yiannis Oikonomou, refers to the bill for the rationalization of insurance legislation and the strengthening of vulnerable social groups with his post on Twitter.
He points out that in this, “the plan envisages the increase of the special maternity leave from 6 to 9 months for mothers who work in the private sector as employees”.
The bill was given last Thursday to a public consultation by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and includes arrangements for the implementation of the social package announced by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis from the stage of the TIF.
