Tzanakis in SKAI: 4,500-6,000 cases per day – Up to 1,800 dead by the end of the year

by

From 1,500 dead to 1,800 dead, our country will count until the end, breaking the barrier of 20,000 deaths from the coronavirus pandemic, as stated by Professor of Pulmonology at the University of Crete, Nikos Tzanakis, speaking on SKAI and the show “Today”.

“We will far exceed the 20,000 dead, we will approach 21,000, a number that we all hoped and believed we would reach in the spring. “Unfortunately, it came much earlier as a result of the oligarchy to vaccinate this half a million citizens who are over 60 years old and it is the reservoir that gives 90% of these deaths”, he stated characteristically.

He stressed that from simulations done by his team, it appears that the intubated vaccinated are 1 to 12, ie one vaccinated to 12 unvaccinated. In terms of deaths for every 42 unvaccinated deaths corresponds to 1 vaccinated death. “The numbers are frightening to question the value of vaccines,” he said. .

Regarding the course of the pandemic, Mr. Tzanakis pointed out that his model shows a fairly good de-escalation in cases. “We already recorded 600 fewer cases last week on average and we will record perhaps 700 fewer cases this week than last year. So, we will stabilize in numbers between 4,500-6,000 cases every day. Deaths, however, will fall below 50 by the beginning of the year. “It’s a pandemic indicator that is receding with a time lag in relation to cases,” he said.

He stressed that it is very optimistic that Attica has not “woken up” in this wave, as with the exception of Western Attica, it is well vaccinated or in the highest parts of Greece, and especially the elderly. “They are approaching almost 82% now and this is a very good legacy that even if something happens in Attica we will not have the pressure on the health system,” he said.

Regarding the vaccination of children, for which the platform opens today, the professor commented that “if I were a father I would not be able to bear the possibility of my child getting sick”. As he explained, rarely do children, when they get sick, become overweight and develop an inflammatory syndrome with an extremely bad burden on their blood vessels and cardiovascular system. He added that “if some parents are afraid to think that they vaccinated their child from an infant almost with vaccines that had similar or more complications without fear. To discuss it with the pediatricians, to talk to them, to entertain the fears and without fear and passion to go and vaccinate them because on the one hand they will protect them and on the other hand they will protect their family “.

The army, the security forces and some sensitive workers in the narrow public sector would have to voluntarily impose themselves.
