According to information, a “key” person from the close environment of 53-year-old Ilias Michos she is expected to be summoned immediately to give explanations about the case, while it is possible that an arrest warrant will be issued against her if the prosecution determines that her involvement constitutes a criminal act.

Yesterday at noon, the 37-year-old mother of the minor appeared before the investigator, who denied the charge of pimping attributed to her and was given a deadline to apologize on Monday at 1 p.m.
In her statement to the juvenile police, she had argued:
“I have nothing to do with what you are telling me”
“I categorically deny what you attribute to me. I am innocent”
“I would never hurt any of my children”
However, they made a sensation the statements of the advocate of Apostolos Lytras who stated to the journalists that he has received phone calls that there are other complaints against the 53-year-old and the 42-year-old, while he estimated that there is an organized ring behind the case.
“There are two other girls who are complaining, at the moment they are 18 years old but when they were hurt they were minors. With her written statement, she described the act of the businessman as abominable, while she emphasized that neither she nor their son has any involvement with the case. Regarding the money he gave to the mother of the minor, he claimed that he gave it to her for humanitarian reasons.
“I gave them to her, for humanitarian reasons and shocked by what she revealed to me in the messages… It is absolutely false that I allegedly visited her at her home, offered her money and she refused it.”
As for the two remanded rapists of the 12-year-old who apologized to the investigator on Wednesday, they brazenly asserted that they did not rape her. Michos argued that what was done was done with her consent, while o Giannis Sofianidis he boldly testified that the minor provoked him and pressured him to meet.
The 53-year-old Ilias Michos argued in his apology:
“I didn’t rape her. Everything that happened was done with her consent. I knew she was 12 years old but she looked older. She was texting me on my cell phone and telling me to call her mom and tell her: send your daughter to help me. He often fought with her.”
Giannis Sofianidis, who did not admit to raping the 12-year-old girl, moved in the same direction in his apology and argued:
“She was challenging me (she means the minor). She was pressuring me to meet. I have been with her a few times”
