A 3rd person who allegedly accompanied her 12 years old – who was the victim of multiple rapes and prostitution – the authorities are looking for the dates arranged for her by 53-year-old Ilias Michos.

He was named by the minor girl in her first statement on September 17 to the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate as the person who accompanied her to the customers’ vehicles. At least 4 other people between 30-40 years of age, the minor identified as her rapists during their statement to the police of the Juvenile Division, while more than 10 men have been identified by the security investigation as they betrayed their electronic traces in the dark internet chats.

As had revealed on Wednesday, the minor was summoned to GADA in order to give a supplementary statement and to identify through photographs shown to her by the police men who abused her. At the same time, the investigations are also continuing in the part of the case of those who seem to have communicated with the 12-year-old’s profile, a number that reaches 212. The conversations took place through the blindchat application and from them the e-mail and the details of the PayPal card used for the kid’s freak dates. Most of the “prospective customers” seem to have taken down their profiles today, while some of them appear to be refusing the offers that the little girl appears to be making to them, saying that she is still too young.

In his apology, Michos stated that “with the consent” of the child, he had met with him four times in his shop and another time at his home when his wife was absent.

And the other defendant, who is already in prison, Ioannis Sofianidis, admitted that he had been with the 12-year-old girl several times “with the consent” and “instigation” of the victim. He also said that he met the 12-year-old on a dating chat and that the girl went on dates alone with him. He emphasized that he does not know and had never seen Michos. It should be noted that both the 42-year-old and Michos initially appointed the same lawyer who had attended the dissolution of Michos’s marriage with his wife on October 4. Subsequently, both defendants revoked the order to the lawyer in question and appeared before the interrogator without a lawyer.
