A university rally is currently underway in Propylaia against the university police, the educational restructuring as well as the recent events at the Faculty of Law at AUTH. A few minutes before 2 in the afternoon there were clashes between students and the police forces with the use of chemicals by the police. The incidents broke out when the students tried to exit the University from the area in front of the Rector’s Office and start a march. Now, the march of the students has started, with strong police forces in the area of ​​the center of Athens. A new round of tension, however, broke out shortly before 3 in the afternoon and while the students’ march was at the beginning of the University, with the police forces making limited use of chemicals and skirmishes with students being recorded. The march has now been completed and the student representatives are meeting at the Polytechnic to decide on the continuation of their mobilizations.

In addition to the students, teachers’ associations are also present at the rally.
