The new Jeep Wrangler 4xe with significant upgrades

A year ago, Jeep introduced the plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe, which is an important chapter in the history of the legendary American brand. Thanks to the innovative 4xe system, the drivers of the hybrid model have the ability to move purely electrically on their daily routes in the city with top economy and zero emissions. At the same time, the system offers all-wheel drive all-electric for quiet off-road adventures. It delivers 380 hp and has 637 Nm of torque, while the electric motor works perfectly with the two-liter turbo gasoline engine.

For the first time, the Wrangler will be available with a Gorilla Glass windshield, an innovative choice started by the brand’s dynamic pick-up, the Jeep Gladiator, and further enhances the rugged character of the model.

At the same time it will offer more security and connectivity, with the Safety packages (set of advanced driving assistance systems, ADAS) and Technology (complete set of connectivity) being in the standard equipment of all versions. Specifically, the new safety and technology packages include advanced ADAS systems, such as the autonomous braking and front collision warning system, active speed control system, blind-spot monitoring system with Rear Cross-Path Detection function, etc. At the same time, elements are available such as the front off-road camera, but also the Uconnect multimedia system with the 8.4 ” screen, which includes a full range of connectivity services that allow the monitoring of the vehicle, as well as the control of specific systems via the user’s mobile phone screen and related Jeep application.

The acceleration of the model from standstill to 100 km / h comes in just 6.4 seconds and the ability to drive purely electrically for more than 50 kilometers.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is expected to be available in Greece in the near future, with all its versions being exempt from paying road taxes.
