Terraço Itália welcomes Italian chef with three Michelin stars at gastronomic festival

by

In the capital of São Paulo, the last week of October presents a series of events dedicated to the universe of gastronomy for those who want to eat and drink well.

The program starts this Monday, the 24th, with the start of the 11th edition of Settimana della Cucina Italiana, in which 20 Brazilian chefs welcome Italian colleagues to cook in their restaurants in São Paulo.

In the field of Japanese food, the tip is the Izakaya Matsuri, which brings together 12 izakayas from São Paulo —as the typical Japanese bars are called—, with dishes, drinks and karaoke at Bunkyo, in Liberdade.

The event is part of the Japanese Gastronomy Week, which also brought bartender Rogério Igarashi, from Trench, in Tokyo, to São Paulo. Igarashi runs the cocktail shakers at Tan Tan, in Pinheiros, alongside Ricardo Miyazaki on Saturday (29), with drinks made from awamori, a distillate produced exclusively in Okinawa, Japan.

See below these and other activities to fill your belly — and your face — this week in São Paulo.

Circuit of the Senses

Until the second week of November, British gin brand Bombay Sapphire promotes the Circuito dos Sentidos, which takes exclusive drinks to bars in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Among the nine addresses participating in the festival in the capital of São Paulo, there are houses such as Vila Anália, Flora and The S.

Among the guests is Roberto Cerea, in charge of Da Vittorio, in Bergamo, in the Lombardy region, with three stars in the Michelin Guide. He cooks at Terraço Itália, in downtown São Paulo.
