In total, it is estimated that around 257 million euros will be paid to over 857,000 beneficiaries.

The payment of November pension advances and the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for October includes, among others, the planning of payments by the Ministry of Labour, e-EFKA, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and the OPECA, for the week of October 31-November 4, 2022.

In total, it is estimated that around 257 million euros will be paid to over 857,000 beneficiaries.

In particular, as stated in the relevant announcement:

1. From the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs the following payments will be made on Monday, October 31:

  • 1,384,094 euros to 15,669 beneficiaries, companies-employers, included in the open program of new jobs for the recruitment of young people aged 18-29 “First Ensimo”.
  • 1,727,797 euros to 12,934 beneficiaries, employees, included in the open program of new jobs for the first recruitment of young people aged 18-29 “First Ensimo”.
  • 2,488,518 euros to 14,353 beneficiaries (enterprises) for subsidizing new jobs of the 100,000 (+50,000) new subsidized jobs program.
  • 2,524,516 euros to 59 beneficiaries for financial support in the cultural sector (theatres-cinemas).
  • 203,148 euros to 394 workers in the fur industry, due to suspension of contracts.

2. From the e-EFKA the following payments will be made, as part of the organization’s regular payments:

  • On Monday, October 31, 7.3 million euros will be paid to 19,300 beneficiaries for November pension advances on the basis of Law 4778/2021.
  • Next week, 26 million euros will be paid to 800 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions and 350,000 euros to 490 beneficiaries for benefits of the TAVTEKO district.

3. From the DOUBLE the following payments will be made:

  • 12 million euros to 38,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
  • 21 million euros to 19,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
  • 700,000 euros to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.

4. Finally, on Monday 31 October, OPECA will make the following payments:

  • 73.1 million euros to 174,135 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).
  • 48.1 million euros to 225,699 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
  • 32.8 million euros to 272,606 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
  • 11.8 million euros to 11,800 beneficiaries for birth allowance.

– 11.6 million euros to 35,135 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.

– 289,955 euros to 692 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans of the “GEFYRA” program (due to COVID-19).

– 299,897 euros to 802 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.

– 212,165 euros to 6,021 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.

– 225,338 euros to 2,756 beneficiaries as the State’s contribution to loans (main residence protection).

– 233,294 euros to 468 beneficiaries for underwriting allowance.

– 154,091 euros to 194 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
