Petrou Filippidi’s trial: Two colleagues and friends of the actress who denounces an attempt to rape her in a theater testified

With the statements of two actresses, friends with the second actress who denounces him Petros Filippidis for sexual violence, the trial of the accused for one rape and two attempted rapes against his colleagues continued before the Joint Jury.

In their statements, the actors Tzouli Soumas and Andromachi Davlou said that their colleague and friend had spoken to them about the attempted rape she claimed she had suffered from the accused bandleader in 2010 in the accused’s dressing room at the “Moussouri” theater where she met him in order to to give her a role in the show “Bakalogatos”.

According to the witnesses, the complainant told them what had happened during her disputed date with the accused and also the threats their friend received from the leader after the incident.

Mrs. Souma testified that the complainant spoke to her in 2018 about what she complains happened in the defendant’s dressing room and about his threat when the alleged victim managed to escape from him: “She told me that when he opened the door for her to leave, he told her ” I will destroy you, you will find me in front of you”.

Mrs. Davlou testified that in 2016, during a visit to her home by the complainant, when the name of Filippidis was mentioned, the alleged victim “blacked out”. As the actress testified, “I tell her, has she fallen for you? Because she has fallen for me too. “No,” he tells me, “something more.” I told her that in 2000 I was invited to the series “Kleidi” to play a small role”. According to the witness, after the said shooting for the series and after he told her that it was very good, “we leave to go to the dressing rooms. There he closes me with a very tight hug around the neck. Two days later he calls me and asks me to meet him in the evening at his place to rehearse. There is no evening rehearsal. I don’t feel comfortable and I say no. He took me again the next day to tell me to rehearse at his place. I said again I can’t. I thought it wasn’t a rehearsal. I feel like it’s another calling. He never called me again, but no more scripts come to me.”

The defendant’s defense asked the court to allow a car of the same make and model as that of Petros Filippidis to be taken out of court so that the judges could see how it was locked and unlocked, as the second attempted rape charged against the defendant was allegedly inside the vehicle in a deserted place in Psychiko. The complaining actress, who gave her third unannounced court appearance, claims the famous actor tried to rape her by locking the car in the central locking system and that he let her go when she pretended to have a panic attack.

The court reserved an answer to the request.
