Fate played a bad game for a 25-year-old man, who tragically died in a traffic accident that occurred at night, on the Volos-Farsala road, near Mikrothebes, when the car he was driving “collided” with a wild boar.
The tragic accident happened when the car driven by the 25-year-old crashed heavily into a wild boar that was on the road, seriously injured, after it had been hit a little earlier by another car, which was moving in the opposite direction of traffic.
The other car was driven by a 40-year-old woman heading towards Volos, who was not injured when her car collided with the animal. However, the unfortunate 25-year-old, due to the collision with the wild boar, lost control of the car he was driving as a result of which it swerved, fell violently against a concrete wall and then overturned. From the collision with the large animal and the overturning of the car, the 25-year-old was fatally injured.
According to the Police, the two cars involved in the fatal traffic accident did not collide with each other, but their collision with the wild boar was the cause.
