Citizens are requested to contact the Athens Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, for the provision of any relevant information.
The police, following a relevant Order of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, released the identity information as well as the photographs of fourteen (14) people, who are members of the three gangs that committed armed robberies in shops and houses and trafficked narcotics in the wider area of Attica, with the student residences of the Polytechnic University of Zografou as a starting point.
“The specific disclosure, in accordance with the relevant Prosecution Provisions, is intended to investigate their participation in other criminal acts, to provide information for the identification and arrest of elusive members of the organization and to protect society as a whole by making it aware of the way the criminal organization operates to the citizens.
In this context, citizens are requested to contact the telephone number 210-8695537 or 210-8695538 of the Athens Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, to provide any relevant information. It is noted that the anonymity and confidentiality of the communication is ensured”, the Hellenic Police Headquarters says in the announcement.
