After the raid of the financial police last week on five structures of the organization throughout Greece and the collection of critical financial data, regarding the route of the sums of money that entered the organization’s coffers from donations and sponsorships, it is expected that the major investigation being conducted by the Authority on the money launderingwhich makes a “leaf and feather” of the assets and bank accounts of father Antonios and the elder, as well as those who have been involved with the financial management of “Kivotos”, in order to find out if anyone “put a hand” on the money of the NGO .
Whether it has been around for years embezzlement from the funds of the structurebut also by whom is the question that the authorities are asked to answer.
Deposits continue
At the judicial level, the depositions of former workers and former food workers of the NGO will continue unabated this week to the two juvenile prosecutors who are handling the case and investigating complaints of beatings, extreme punishments and sexual abuse.
In fact, in the coming days, the two prosecutors are expected to request the confidential files of the children who have been accommodated in the NGO’s structures and have denounced Kivotos officials for abuse, as well as of those children who – based on the statements they receive – are suspected of abusive behavior in their weight.
