Nikos Konstantopoulos is out of ICU – His family thanks the staff of Sotiria

The lawyer and former President of the Coalition is following a specific rehabilitation program, aiming for his complete recovery from the serious adventure that endangered his life.

After 3 weeks of hospitalization in the ICU PP of the Sotiria Hospital, thanks to the fight for life given by the doctors, nurses and himself, the Nikos Constantopoulos he left the ICU and the Hospital and is already at home, close to his family. The lawyer and former President of the Coalition is following a specific rehabilitation program, aiming for his complete recovery from the serious adventure that endangered his life.

What his family said:

“We feel the need to thank from the bottom of our hearts the doctors, nurses and the entire staff of the Sotiria Hospital, each and every one of them personally, who for 3 weeks took care and vigil, with dedication and self-sacrifice, night and day. Also the doctors and nurses of Gennimatas Hospital, who intervened at a critical time, for saving his life. And also all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, assistants, physiotherapists who helped and everyone who mobilized. Our gratitude will last a lifetime.

Special thanks, which cannot be expressed in words, are due to the head of the University Pulmonology Clinic, Professor Antonia Koutsoukou and her entire team.

A huge thank you to doctor Nikos Ptohis and his team, who accurately and successfully performed the embolization of the bleeding vessels, saving the patient’s life. And also to the doctors of Athens Medical Center Nikos Angelou and Sotiria Angeliki Leventis, who came to the rescue at a particularly critical moment. Also to his personal doctors, Nikos Zamanis and Gabriel Dahabre for their valuable contribution, as well as to Hippocrate’s doctor Penny Giannou.

We especially thank the President and CEO of Athens Medical, George and Vassilis Apostolopoulos, for their undivided and uninterrupted support, as well as the Governor of the Maternity Hospital Eleftherios Boulias, who took care in the critical times.

Throughout this time, the love of Nikos Konstantopoulos’ friends and relatives, as well as of many people, was of decisive value, which was expressed in a touching way and with the generous donation of blood, a movement that gives life. The collected blood will be donated to E.S.Y. to save other people’s lives”.
