Reactions after the death of the 16-year-old by a policeman’s bullet – The road is closed from the height of the cemetery to the intersection with Rhodes-Kallitheas for safety reasons
The ring road outside the Roma camp in the “Karakonero” area, in the city of Rhodes, was closed this evening by dozens of gypsies, mainly young people, setting fire and setting up barricades, thus expressing their reaction to the death of the 16-year-old Roma, which ended today in the hospital of Thessaloniki.
Strong police forces and two vehicles of the Rhodes Fire Service rushed to the scene.

The road is closed from the height of the cemetery to the intersection with Rhodes-Kallitheas for security reasons, while the Roma participating in the mobilization shout slogans and demand justice.
Strong ELAS and Fire Brigade forces remain at the scene, while the road remains closed to vehicle traffic.
