An announcement regarding the tension that prevailed at noon outside the Athens University of Economics (formerly ASOEE) and the Athens Law School was issued, a while ago, by ELAS, noting, among other things, that 25 people were brought in.
In detail, ELAS states:
“At 12:00, following a call by collectives with the aim of occupying the Athens Law School, 25 people gathered in front of the University Foundation, on Solonos Street, who were brought to the Sub-Directorate of State Security by police forces who rushed to the scene.
At the same time, around the same time, another group of people, with their facial features covered, came out of the Athens University of Economics and Business on Patision Street and placed bins and other objects on the road surface, which they set on fire, thus disrupting traffic of vehicles.
These people attacked the police by throwing flares, stones and other objects. The police forces used the necessary means and the aforementioned group entered the University. The road surface was cleared of the objects and Patision Street was opened to traffic.”
