With their national team on the verge of playing in the grand final of the World Cup, the Argentines rushed to look for plane tickets to Qatar. The data is from the travel company Decolar, which pointed to a 399% increase in the search for tickets leaving Argentina towards the city of the World Cup.

“After the game against Croatia, on December 13, we observed that the search for airline tickets to Qatar grew by around 399%, compared to the previous day (12), surpassing by 77% the record of searches for the match against the Netherlands”, says Daniela Araujo, Director of Air Products at Decolar.

In a search on the site this Friday morning (16), round-trip tickets from Buenos Aires to Doha, in Qatar, cost no less than R$13,000 (via British Airways), with a stay of at least four days at the destination .

There are options that cost more than R$ 60,000 for Iberia and R$ 70,000 for Qatar Airways.

Decolar points out that one of the advantages of buying tickets to watch the Cup final, regardless of the fan’s nationality, is that, since December 2nd, travelers can already enter Qatar without the need to present their ticket or accommodation confirmation.

It is only necessary to fill in the Hayya Card and put the “Early December Hayya” option, which is approved in a few minutes. The website to get tickets, according to Decolar, is https://hayya.qatar2022.qa/es/.
