The identity information and photos of a foreigner who committed robberies by grabbing a bag, in one of which the victim ended up and who was arrested on 2-12-2022 by police officers of the DI.AS Team, are made public following a relevant Order of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office .
This is the arrested person:
1. (s) MUSAJ (son) ALVIN of PETRIT and XATIXHE, born 1-6-1986 in Albania.
The attacker was riding a motorcycle and grabbing women’s bags. On November 10, the foreigner with the motorcycle grabbed the bag of an elderly woman, who fell to the ground and was fatally injured.
The robber was located in Ilioupoli, after an arrest warrant had been issued against him, for theft. He was subsequently identified in two other cases of robbery, one of which was of the elderly woman who lost her life.
The specific publication, according to the relevant Prosecutor’s Order, aims at the need to protect society from the criminal activity of the accused, to facilitate the investigation of any commission and other similar acts and to more easily satisfy the criminal claim of the State for the hell of the crimes he committed . In particular, given that the accused committed the criminal acts at the expense of many victims in a way that demonstrates a particular danger to public safety and in order to find out undisclosed cases of similar incidents by victims that took place at an earlier time of his arrest.
