It snowed during the night that was spent on the peaks of Pelion, in Chania and in Agriolefkes without creating any problems on the road network in the area, but snow lovers will enjoy the Pelion Ski Center on Christmas days.
The Region of Thessaly last night was fully prepared to intervene with snow removal machines where needed, because around midnight the snowfall intensified and the height of the snow layer reached 5 centimeters in Chania.

However, the Pelion Ski Center, in Agriolefkes, will be open on the weekend of December 24 and 25, i.e. Christmas Eve and Day, with the lifts “Pilio 1” and “Pilio 3” open and in full operation for aerial rides since the snow has not it is enough to operate the ski slopes. The two ski chalets will be open for visitors to enjoy the winter scenery on Centaur Mountain.
