The workers are asking the two employers’ organizations to sign new collective labor agreements with increases based on actual conditions in the context of inflation, while a meeting will be held tomorrow at the Ministry of Shipping.
“After the last meeting with the employer, with its position of zero increases in relation to the existing conditions, we proceed, following a decision of the General Assembly, to the only pressure measure we have left, that of the strike action which we had suspended» emphasizes the workers’ union in its announcement.
He adds, moreover, that with a high sense of responsibility towards those involved, the Panhellenic Union of Towing Crews is ready for a new dialogue and to find an acceptable solution.
