In more detail, after the incident of a wild boar attacking a hunter, which occurred a few days ago in Karystos, residents in Chalkida point out that the wild animals are now too easily reaching central parts of Chalkida, taking their walks on the beach or the neighborhoods unmolested.
After all, who can forget the epic animal baths on a city center beach, which put local authorities on their toes as the extreme scene could potentially turn ugly for both the wild animals and swimmers, back in July when we passed.

In other cases they even break into homes in search of food, with the residents coming face to face with the wild boars and not knowing what to do.
