Approximately fifty days before the expiration of the two-month extension granted by the SEC for the payment of traffic fees, and about 42% of the expected revenue has entered the public coffers. Of the approximately €1.1 billion that the State expects to collect in total, approximately €500 million has already been collected.

Regarding the immobility of the I.X. , at the end of November 2022 130,000 owners had digitally deposited their plates, a number that appears to be consolidating as in November 2021 around 120,000 owners had immobilized their vehicles. (It should be noted that if, after an inspection, a declared immobilized vehicle is found to be in motion, the immobility is automatically lifted, the fees and fines provided for are imposed, as well as an administrative fine of €10,000. In case of recurrence, the fine is tripled and the owner’s driver’s license is revoked for 3 years)

From November to date, approximately 7,000 owners have foreclosed.

“Failure” to pay fees by February 28 when the deadline expires, incurs a fine equal to double the fees unless the fees are up to €30 in which case no fine is imposed. The fine drops to 50% if it is a public passenger car.

The fees for 2023 are exactly the same as last year and can be paid in the following ways:

-Mobile Banking by scanning the QR code accompanying the notification without the need for the payment code and amount.
-Web Banking In this case you will be asked for the 23-digit RF code.
-Automated transaction machines located in banks. And here the QR code will be requested.
-At bank counters or at an ELTA branch…for the less informed, having previously printed the notice.

The notification form is printed using taxisnet codes as follows:

– I enter the MyCar application of AADE
– Enter the codes
-I press vehicle traffic fees
-I choose vehicle traffic fee notices
-Enter vehicle registration number
– I save the resulting file on the mobile phone or the computer so that it is ready for printing.

– Enter the VAT number and vehicle registration number
-I press the print button to display the file.
