It is expanding, based on the planning that the ministry has already presented Labor and Social Affairsits scope Digital Job Card to companies providing insurance services and companies providing safekeeping and protection services.
Specifically, from Thursday 16 February 2023the scope of application of the Digital Card mechanism includes insurance companies, whose primary or secondary Activity Number Code (KAD) belongs to the four-digit KAD 6622, with the obligation to take the required actions.
At the same time, from the same date, Thursday 16/2/2023, the following will be included in the Digital Card regime and with the corresponding obligations guarding and protection service companieswith a primary or secondary four-digit 8010 and 8020 VAT number.
It is noted that companies providing safekeeping and protection services with a four-digit 8030 VAT number are not included in the scope of application of the Digital Card.
As the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs states in its announcement, they are joining through the myErgani mobile app for employeeswhich has been upgraded to support the operation of the Digital Job Card and through the Ergani CardScanner appfor businesses that do not already have a timekeeping system, which “reads” the employees’ Digital Cards at the start and end of work and automatically transmits the information in real time to the “ERGANI II” Information System.
