An elderly doctor from Germany is accused of being an accomplice of the fake doctor in Thessaloniki – They led to the death of 5 patients – Official announcements at noon
A “bogus doctor” who allegedly tricked multiple sclerosis patients into stopping their medication and trying a “groundbreaking” treatment with alleged stem cell injections.
The case file filed against him by the Organized Crime Prosecution Sub-Directorate of Thessaloniki of EL.AS. it was already forwarded to the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki and criminal proceedings were brought against him.
He is a physiotherapist from Athens who was looking for his potential victims all over Greece and he introduced himself as a supposed doctor. The case file is already in the hands of an investigator.
In total, he is accused of five cases of death, while other cases are pending. An elderly doctor from Germany is accused as his accomplice (he is accused of the same acts), where he allegedly sent his victims for the allegedly pioneering treatment, for which he demanded financial compensation.
The profit they are accused of making from each amounts to several tens of thousands of euros.
Samples of the vials he allegedly administered were sent for laboratory analysis and were found to have absolutely no medicinal properties, as stated in the findings report.
Announcements on the case will be held today at noon (1:30 p.m.) by the Director of Thessaloniki Security, Brigadier General Stavros Kelesidis and the head of the Thessaloniki Journalists’ Information Office, Police Officer II Christos Dimitrakopoulos.
