The perpetrators of other robberies were also identified murder of a convenience store employee in the area of ​​Toumba in November 2021.

After a thorough investigation by police officers of the Crimes Against Property Department in collaboration with their colleagues from the Crimes Against Life Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, individuals involved in armed robberies in the areas of Analipsis and Toumba were identified.

These are two nationals 37 and 24 years old and two foreigners 29 and 38 years oldagainst whom a case file was filed for robberies carried out in concert and in collaboration together and for violation of the Arms Law.

In particular, the aforementioned acting together, in October 2021, committed two robberies at gunpoint and knife against two food distributors in the area of ​​Toumba, from which they took the sum of 340 euros.

In the same way they committed armed robbery at a petrol station in the same area, from where they took the sum of 659 euros.

In addition, the 37-year-old, in November 2021, with the threat of a pistol, removed an amount of 754 euros from two convenience stores in the areas of Toumba and Analipsi.

After an organized operation carried out on 20-01-2023, the 24-year-old citizen was located and arrested, who was taken to the General Detention Office of Thessaloniki, where he is temporarily detained.

It is noted that the 37-year-old and the 29-year-old were arrested in November 2021 for a case of homicide in a convenience store in the area of ​​Toumba.

The search for the identification and arrest of the 38-year-old is continuing.

Noteworthyi that the 37-year-old and the 29-year-old were arrested in November 2021 for the murder of a 44-year-old man in a convenience store in the area of ​​Toumba.

The bloody event took place in the early hours of November 6, 2021 and was recorded frame by frame by the store’s security camera (on Gr. Lambraki Street). The victim was shot on contact, in his attempt to disarm the assailant, with whom he fought. The 44-year-old ended up a few hours later at the AHEPA hospital, where he was treated with severe brain injuries.
