The selection of candidates for admission to ASEI, SSAS, SAN and ASSY is made in accordance with the provisions of Law 4777/2021.
The announcement of the competition for the admission and ranking of students in the Higher Military Educational Institutions (ASEI) was posted today in “Diaugeia” [Ευελπίδων (ΣΣΕ), Ναυτικών Δοκίµων (ΣΝΔ), Ικάρων (ΣΙ)]Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS), Nursing Officers (SAN) and the Higher Military Schools of NCOs (ASSY) [Στρατού Ξηράς (ΣΜΥ), Πολεµικού Ναυτικού (ΣΜΥΝ) και Πολεµικής Αεροπορίας (ΣΜΥΑ)]during the academic year 2023-2024 including instructions for the preliminary exams (PKE).
As stated in the notice:
– It is possible to admit student candidates, as runners-up to fill vacant positions, in ASEI, SSAS, SAN and ASSY in accordance with par. 5 of article 11 of Law 3648/2008, which will arise due to non- presentation, resignation, removal or withdrawal of candidates who are initially judged as admitted to these Schools, based on the results that will be sanctioned by the Ministry of Education.
– The special categories of candidates are admitted to the Military Schools in accordance with article 11 of Law 3648/2008 and the provisions of Law 1294/1982. With reference to the special categories of article 11 of Law 3648/2008, if the number of candidates is not sufficient to cover the prescribed positions, then the vacant positions are filled by candidates of the General Series.
As long as the number of positions in the “Permanent Staff of the Greek Army” category of Law 1294/1982, for the Weapons-Corps SSE, is not filled, then the remaining positions are allocated to the candidates of the general series and the special categories of the School, with a supplementary admission circular , which is issued after the end of the examinations of the said category.
The selection of candidates for admission to ASEI, SSAS, SAN and ASSY is made in accordance with the provisions of Law 4777/2021.
Candidates should submit the application and supporting documents electronically through the relevant application at https://www.asei-assy.mil.gr from Monday 30 January 2023 at 08:00 until Friday 10 February 2023 and time 24:00.
Accordingly, Greeks abroad, by e-mail to the DAE e-mail ([email protected]) from Wednesday 28 June 2023 at 00:00 until Tuesday 11 July 2023 at 24:00.
It is emphasized that candidates are solely responsible for:
a. To find out if their supporting documents have been accepted or not (through the application) and to complete them, if required. The verification of supporting documents will be done by the examination centers, as provided by their operating organizations.
b. To be informed about the time and place of the PKE.
Candidates for permanent non-commissioned officers of the Army can be informed about the material, time, procedure and place of the exams from the Examination Ticket Department of the SSE, on the phones: 2108904026-4127, 2108904093, Fax 2108970232.
The exact start and end dates of the PKE will be announced at a later date.
