The competent audit services (EL.AS, Coast Guard, EAD, DIMEA, SEPE, Regions and Municipal Police) carried out on Saturday 25.12.2021 a total of 57,077 inspections and recorded 422 cases of violation of measures epidemiological alert.
In total, fines amounting to € 189,700 and a penalty of suspension of operation of fifteen (15) days were imposed on a total of four (4) companies.

Region of Attica
EL.AS proceeded to one (1) arrest of the temporarily responsible store (catering and entertainment), imposed an administrative fine of € 5,000 and fifteen (15) days suspension of operation, for entry of customers without the necessary certificates. In addition, he proceeded to two (2) arrests of customers and imposed fines totaling € 6,000 (€ 2×3,000) for carrying forged certificates.
EL.AS proceeded to (2) total arrests of the temporarily responsible stores, imposed administrative fines totaling 60,000 € (2×30,000 €) and fifteen (15) days of additional suspension of operation, for violation of suspension of operation.
EL.AS proceeded to one (1) arrest of the store owner, imposed an administrative fine of 5,000 € and fifteen (15) days suspension of operation, for entry of customers without the necessary certificates. In addition, it imposed fines totaling € 900 (€ 3×300) on these customers.
Peloponnese Region
EL.AS. imposed administrative fines of a total amount of € 600 (€ 2×300) on two (2) stores for non-compliance with the obligation to post in paper or digital form of the maximum number of persons allowed to be inside the store.
Western Greece
EL.AS. imposed an administrative fine of € 300 on one (1) store for non-compliance with the obligation to post in paper or digital form of the maximum number of persons allowed to be inside the store.
Territory
The Coast Guard carried out 2,072 inspections which did not reveal any violations.
EL.AS proceeded to six (6) arrests for violations related to the special operating conditions of the companies.
