More than 324,000 citizens stored their identity card in the COVID free wallet on the first day alone, Digital Government Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced on Wednesday.

It is recalled that from Tuesday, citizens now have the opportunity to store in the application covid-free GR wallet, in addition to certificates of vaccination, illness or diagnostic test, and the identity card so as not to face delays in tests.

The goal of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Citizen Protection is to reduce congestion from certificate testing (vaccination, disease or diagnostic testing) at the entrances of restaurants and entertainment venues and other related places, at a time when concerns about the arrival of festive season.
