The Panhellenic Association of Entrepreneurs of Entertainment Centers and Music Theatrical Performances warns of a “lockout” in their businesses on the occasion of the new measures announced by the Minister of Health Thanos Plevris in the shadow of the spread of the Omikron mutation.

We demand here and now:
1. The elementary preservation of regularity – avoiding last minute surprises. Is our operation now or imperative, at least on the two days 31/12/21, 01/01/22, for which we have been subjected to exorbitant costs of commissions, we have received advances from our customers, they have prepaid their travels to the Centers us and so on, so that any overthrow at the last minute would be painless and catastrophic.
2. The provision of a distinct free opening hours of the Entertainment Centers, in each case extended in relation to the opening hours of the other catering companies, in order to preserve the very existence and viability, but also the distinct and special position of the entertainment companies and the spectacle in no business at all.
3. The immediate revocation of the proclamation of the prohibition of the use of music, if the already announced measures that will be valid from January 3, 2022 or earlier are not observed, as music is directly related to entertainment, recreation and leisure, ie exactly with its object of our own activity, the use of music is the capable and necessary condition for the operation of our businesses.
4. The exclusive reservation of offering live music only to our companies – Entertainment Centers, in order to eliminate the phenomena of illegal operation of Stores of all kinds – cafes, refreshments, restaurants, snack bars, bars, theaters and the like – “for Entertainment Centers”, offering live music, in excess of the hours of music use and the permissible sound level, a direct and substantial breach of their sanitary conditions of operation with the obvious consequence of overcoming a regime of delinquency, unfair competition and, ultimately, spectacle.
5. Our inclusion in the enterprises of culture and the special provision corresponding to these enterprises of financial support – subsidy or other specific financial support tool for the viability of our own enterprises. “
