The arrested persons, with the case filed against them for – as the case may be – violations of the laws on drugs and weapons, were taken to the competent prosecution authority

Two foreigners, members of a criminal group, were arrested yesterday (9/2) in western Attica by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate, for possession and trafficking of significant quantities of narcotics.

According to ELAS, appropriate utilization of information data and creation of individual “profiles” (profiling) was preceded, through which their action in the trafficking of cocaine and cannabis to small drug dealers in Attica was identified, with their illegal profit estimated at at least 820,000 euros.

From the searches carried out in a house and warehouse, used by one arrested to hide the drugs, the following were found and confiscated: 17 kg and 780 grams of cocaine, 122 kg and 511 grams of raw cannabis, 3 kg and 755 grams of cocaine adulteration powder, pistol, 2 magazines and 179 cartridges, 2 precision electronic scales, 3 mobile phones, 2 I.X.E. cars and 650 euros.

The arrested persons, with the case file filed against them for – as the case may be – violations of the laws on drugs and weapons, were taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
