The customers are already filling the shops, while the music and dances have already started….
Vasileos Heraklion and all of Ladadika are again this year the protagonists of the day in Thessaloniki!
Like every year, this year residents and visitors of Thessaloniki celebrate Tsiknopempi, with the traditional tsiknisma, plenty of alcohol, rousing music and the most daring in carnival costumes.
In Ladadika so far there is the greatest movement of people, the taverns and restaurants are full, while a dance has been set up in the street with… all the guests, live music and of course souvlaki!
Thousands of people will gather until the evening in the taverns, steakhouses and tsipouradikas of the area, to feast and celebrate the custom.
Skewers, pancettas, sausages and suzukas are the main meats that are placed on the grills.
At Vasileos of Heraklion quite a few people have started to gather, who as usual eat skewers and drink resins “on the leg”.
A traditional feast with dancing and snacks was set up earlier in the Central Square of Larissa, in the streets of Patras and in the Varvakeio Agora, in the center of Athens.
